Runners from around the country and abroad will gather this Sunday, May 24th for the 26th Annual Vermont City Marathon. Starting at the top of Battery Street at 8am, the course runs through the city and along the lake shore to finish at Waterfront Park. Music, banners, costumes and cowbells help create a palpable energy as thousands of runners and spectators line the streets of Burlington. We are excited to host many out of town runners and their families this weekend for the event!
Our friend and local cartoonist, Rachel Lindsay, has drawn up a marathon comic that captures the spirit of the race.
PS. The comic is true, we will be offering post-race massage for guests and community members from 12pm – 5pm on Sunday!
