Cocktail Walk participants visit three Burlington or Winooski restaurants for original cocktails made with local spirits and bitters. Each Cocktail Walk highlights a different Vermont distiller; the venues concoct their own unique cocktail using that spirit so guests get to try the sprit three different ways. Snacks from each establishment that complement the drinks as well as presentations from the distillers and bartenders.
This week, the Cocktail Walk is highlighting Silo Distillery’s Lavender Vodka. Our restaurant, Juniper, will be making a Lavender Bee’s Knees cocktail. In case you can’t make it this week, here is the recipe for you to try at home:
Lavender Bee’s Knees:
1 oz. SILO Distillery Lavender Vodka
3/4 oz. Honey Simple Syrup
Splash of Cream
Splash of Lemon Juice
Splash of Creme de Violette
Shake with ice and strain.
